A. Fox Designs by Mary Fox Bluge. Mary learned to cross-stitch, by accident, in 1981. She says, "In the process of trying to find fabric for Swedish Weaving, I encountered a cross-stitch shop. After getting over my shock that someone could actually make a living doing this kind of stuff, I received a tiny kit from an employee; and proceeded to purchase everything I needed for a shamrock design that immediately caught my attention. Within a month I was employed part-time (Saturdays) in this little shop where I worked for 2-3 years and where I spent most of my salary. I was addicted and by 1988 I had progressed to designing."
